Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Contract

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour shifts, Day (07:00 - 19:30) and Night (19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description: The Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in the HVTI-Stepdown unit, and may be required to float to other units to manage a similar patient population. The nurse will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe and efficient patient care, following best practices and hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide patient education and support to families.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in a Stepdown unit or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is required, preferably within one location.
• Current and valid Ohio RN license or compact state license is required.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required for submission.
