ACC serves customers worldwide. Description Provide transactional accounting support to Finance Department. To maintain and process entries and documents and transactions required within the full accounting and reporting cycle. Ability to support all departmental transactional roles via cross training. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and resolve disputes. Matches PO’s, receiving records and invoices to support payment internal controls policy. Reviews applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy Reconcile AP to AP Aging, accrued expenses, sales tax payable, PPD accounts management Manage payments to all vendors: Cut checks, process wires and ACH transactions. Works closely with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate reports for the yearly audit function Calculates and pays all sales and use taxes to appropriate states Lockbox, ACH and wire Customer receipts posting Issue Credit memos as needed Contact delinquent accounts, and follow up to the goal of getting the company paid Support customer service in cross department AR management and control Support credit limit and maintenance thereof Process credit card payments from customers Special projects as needed and additional responsibilities as assigned Sales and Use Tax filings and payments Scanning of AP invoices to third party application Fixed asset management may become part of this role. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Hands on experience with a financial accounting system - Great Plains preferred MS Office Suite and Adobe skills. Aptitude towards understanding new applications Ability to collaborate with a team to complete tasks Basic Accounting and Bookkeeping background/education EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of experience and/or education. SALARY: $65,000-$70,000 per year PAY RANGE DETAILS The pay range listed on each job posting at acc represents the anticipated compensation range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s work history, experience, skills, and education. This range does not include the value of the total benefits package (if applicable), which includes, among other benefits, healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. Annual salaries are based on full-time employment.
