Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Liquid Fill Process Operator for a production facility in Waxahachie.
Schedule: 8am- 5pm
Pay: $15.50 or Depending on Experience
Job Summary
The operator sets up, operates, and monitors machinery that fills containers with liquid products. They ensure accurate volume measurements, maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, and troubleshoot equipment to keep production lines running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Setup: Adjust, set up, and operate fluid filling equipment and associated packaging lines (e.g., labelers, conveyors, and cases).
Quality & Compliance: Conduct routine weight and volume checks, monitor liquid batches, and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory standards.
Sanitation & Maintenance: Disassemble, clean, and sanitize filling equipment using Cleaning-In-Place (CIP) systems to ensure a sterile environment.
Troubleshooting: Monitor the line for spills, clogs, or equipment faults, clear jams, and perform minor mechanical adjustments.
Documentation: Maintain accurate written logs and computerized records of production yields, material usage, and downtime.
Requirements & Skills
Experience: Typically requires 1–3 years of experience operating manufacturing or packaging machinery.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy containers (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
Technical Skills: Mechanical aptitude, basic computer literacy for HMI controls, and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or OSHA safety standards.
