Job Description

Seeking an experienced Analog Circuit Design Engineer to support the development and testing of advanced avionics electronics. This position focuses on board-level analog circuit design, schematic capture, PCB development, electrical analysis, and hardware troubleshooting for aerospace and defense applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 3+ years of professional electrical hardware design experience
• Hands-on analog circuit design experience at the circuit-card or PCB level
• Experience creating electrical schematics and supporting PCB layout
• Experience evaluating hardware designs and verifying technical requirements
• Experience supporting multiple phases of the hardware development lifecycle
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; candidates with an active Secret clearance are strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design and capture analog electrical schematics
• Provide technical direction for PCB layout and development
• Perform Worst-Case Circuit Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis
• Support circuit-card, unit-level, and system-level testing
• Troubleshoot test anomalies and investigate electronic hardware failures
• Prepare, review, and present product certification documentation
• Support design reviews and requirements-verification activities
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, test, suppliers, and customers

Preferred Experience

• Avionics, missile, spacecraft, propulsion-control, or other aerospace and defense electronics
• PWM hardware, motor-control circuits, power electronics, or control theory
• Xpedition or similar schematic-capture tools
• PSpice, Saber, or comparable circuit-simulation tools
• Worst-Case Circuit Analysis, Parts Stress Analysis, FMECA, or FMECA-related activities
• Failure investigation involving circuit-card assemblies, line-replaceable units, or integrated systems
• Electrical wire-harness analysis or power- distribution/control -panel design
• Military avionics standards or interfaces, including MIL-STD-1553, IRIG-106, or GPS-based instrumentation
• Hardware development or testing for missile systems, the F-22, F-35, or comparable defense platforms

The successful candidate will be a practical problem-solver who can clearly communicate technical findings and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
