Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus in Cardiovascular Intensive Care. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to cardiac emergencies
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position
• Variable shifts; weekend and holiday availability may be required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, including those recovering from complex cardiac surgery, heart failure, or myocardial infarctions
• Monitor vital signs, administer cardiac medications, and manage advanced life support equipment such as ventilators, balloon pumps, and invasive lines
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practitioners, and allied staff to implement treatment plans and respond proactively to changes in patient status
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Accurately maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record
