Overview Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking a Physical Therapist for a W2 Contract position based in Roseville, California. Schedule: Full time, 4 10's Days, M - F, off on Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with high likelihood of extending Hourly Rate: This position offers an hourly rate between $57.00 to $62.00 which equates to $2,280 to $2,480 per week (based on a 40-hour workweek). Summary: The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive rehabilitative care to patients in an outpatient setting. The role is responsible for evaluating patient conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with professional, hospital, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Conducts thorough patient evaluations to determine functional limitations, treatment needs, and goals. Designs and implements individualized therapy plans based on clinical findings and patient objectives. Provides therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education. Monitors patient progress, adjusts treatment plans as appropriate, and communicates effectively with patients and caregivers. Ensures compliance with California state PT licensure requirements, professional practice guidelines, and organizational policies. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with outpatient clinic standards. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care. Promotes patient safety and adherence to rehabilitation protocols within the outpatient environment. Participates in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and departmental meetings to support professional growth and service excellence. Provides guidance and education to patients and families regarding home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and long-term wellness strategies. Qualifications Current Physical Therapist license in the state of California (CA PT) required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered. Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and evidence-based practice standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient engagement skills.
