Registered Nurse Manager Manassas, VA

Pay From: $45 Per Hour

MUST: The Registered Nurse Manager should have the following:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
• 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with 1+ year of supervisory experience
• Leading and overseeing staff and work flow
• Coaching and training staff
• Ambulatory setting experience, perioperative/Preop experience
• Monitoring patient care
• Providing clinical support
• Comfortable starting and administering IV's
• Implementing continuing quality
• Ensuring compliance with Infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• BLS and ACLS Certified

DUTIES: The Registered Nurse's duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Initiate and administer IV's
• Handle Pre-OP ave Care
• Train and Lead staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
• Provide clinical support as needed
• Oversee and coach staff and ensure smooth work flow
• Handle clinical duties as required
• Monitor patient care
• Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Provide patient education on surgical procedures
• Assist providers as needed
• Implement infection prevention and safety protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patients
