This position will also provide coverage for all specialty appointments during the fixed routes downtime. This includes all special assistance needed by all clients requiring transportation services to/from home to PACE Center facilities and specialty appointments. In addition, The Driver (DOT-CDL) is responsible for complying with all DOT regulations.Minimum RequirementsA current State of California Class B driver's license (with P endorsement for multiple passengers) and a clean driving record within the past 3-years is required.Minimum two years of driving experience required and experience working with geriatric and/or frail elderly populations preferred.Ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit.A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.CompensationPay for this job starts at $25.75 hourlyCompensation DisclaimerActual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
