Bus Monitors - 2025-2026 School Year
Greenwood School District 50
Greenwood School District 50 is seeking caring and responsible Bus Monitors to help provide safe and positive transportation for students during the 2025-2026 school year. Bus Monitors play an essential role in ensuring that students are supervised, supported, and transported in a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and assist students while riding the bus
- Ensure students follow safety rules and district policies
- Assist the driver with maintaining order and cleanliness on the bus
- Provide support to students with special needs, including helping with care or mobility when required
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and drivers regarding student needs
- Remain alert and attentive at all times to ensure student safety
- Participate in training and safety meetings
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a drug test, TB test, and background check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, attentiveness, and professionalism when working with children
- 2025-2026 school year (hours vary by route)
- Salary based on district Classified Salary Schedule
