Greenwood School District 50 is seeking caring and responsible Bus Monitors to help provide safe and positive transportation for students during the 2025-2026 school year. Bus Monitors play an essential role in ensuring that students are supervised, supported, and transported in a safe environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist students while riding the bus
• Ensure students follow safety rules and district policies
• Assist the driver with maintaining order and cleanliness on the bus
• Provide support to students with special needs, including helping with care or mobility when required
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and drivers regarding student needs
• Remain alert and attentive at all times to ensure student safety
• Participate in training and safety meetings

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a drug test, TB test, and background check
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, attentiveness, and professionalism when working with children

Work Schedule & Pay:

• 2025-2026 school year (hours vary by route)
• Salary based on district Classified Salary Schedule
