Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: On-site, Lawrenceville, NJ
Compensation: $24-$25/hr.
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary, Ongoing
Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician to collect wastewater samples, perform laboratory analyses, and support the monitoring of wastewater treatment processes to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect influent, effluent, process, and sludge samples. Follow proper sample-handling protocols.
- Conduct wet-chemistry, instrumental analysis, and microbiological testing.
- Maintain and operate testing instruments.
- Record and report data.
- Maintain quality assurance and quality compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in physical or environmental science.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of the principles of qualitative and quantitative chemistry, biology, mathematics, laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, and procedures.
- Ability to perform standardized tests quickly and accurately.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results.
- Ability to keep accurate records and prepare analytical reports.
