Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (36 or 48 hours per week available)

Highlights:

• Long-Term Acute Care ICU specializing in ventilator weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, and tracheostomy/PEG management
• 12-bed ICU with 35-bed Med-Surg unit; staff may work both units based on census needs
• Epic EMR system with 1 year of experience required
• Adult and geriatric patient population with a daily census of approximately 35 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• 13-week contract with potential extension opportunities

Requirements:

• Active RN license in South Carolina or multistate compact license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• LTAC experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Competency with advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, IV vasopressors, and complex wound care
• Willingness to float to Med-Surg units as needed (1:5 ratio)
• Must reside a minimum distance from the facility per travel policy guidelines
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
