Forklift Operator - Key Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and high-reach forklifts (Crown equipment preferred) to move, store, stack, and retrieve pallets safely.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks efficiently while following warehouse safety procedures.
• Pick full pallets and cases accurately using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Put away products in designated rack locations and maintain proper organization and labeling.
• Handle FDA-regulated products while adhering to quality, safety, and storage requirements.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including staging, verification, and documentation checks.
• Use RF scanners and basic computer systems to track inventory movements and update stock records.
• Identify and resolve inventory, labeling, and order discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Operate additional material handling equipment such as reach trucks and electric pallet jacks (EPJs).
• Verify product counts and quantities using basic math skills to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as required.
• Support productivity and quality goals while prioritizing accuracy and compliance.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency loading and unloading trucks safely.
• Experience with inbound/outbound warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Experience operating high-reach forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks (EPJs).
• Strong attention to detail when handling regulated or quality-sensitive products.
• Ability to follow GMP and SOP requirements.
• Stable work history demonstrating reliability and consistent performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in FDA-regulated, food-grade, or GMP-compliant environments.
• SAP or other Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• Dedicated case-picking experience.
• BG in large-scale distribution or warehouse operations.
• Ability to work in a semi-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
• Quality-focused mindset with a commitment to inventory accuracy.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
