Role Summary:
Under general supervision, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs all aspects of patient exam activities, producing high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine studies and prepare concentrations of radioactive isotopes
• Operate and maintain nuclear scanning equipment
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation in paper and electronic formats
• Assist other radiology areas as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine
• Active registration in Nuclear Medicine through ARRT (N) or NMTCB
• Current BLS-AHA certification
