The facility maintains established clinical protocols and support staff to ensure continuous full scope women's health care coverage. Clinical operations are conducted on-site, encompassing both clinic and call coverage requirements. About the Facility Location Alamosa is situated in the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, nestled between the San Juan Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The area is home to Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, where visitors may sandboard, hike, and explore Zapata Falls, a 30-foot waterfall carved through the Sangre de Cristo rock formations. Outdoor recreation extends to Blanca Peak Trailhead, the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge, and the Rio Grande River Walk, while Colorado Gators Reptile Park and the UFO Watchtower - located approximately 22 miles outside of Alamosa near Hooper - offer distinct local attractions. About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic services through day shift clinic coverage and 24-hour beeper call at an on-site facility in Alamosa, Colorado. Clinical responsibilities encompass the full range of obstetric and gynecologic care delivered across both the clinic and call environments. An average patient volume of 15-20 patients per day is expected during clinic hours. Call coverage is provided via 24-hour beeper, requiring continuous availability during assigned call periods. Support staff includes medical assistants and certified nurse midwives. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is negotiable for this assignment.
