Seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses wanting PRN shifts at Corrections to join our dynamic team.

As a Correctional LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a Correctional Center/Facility located in the state of Louisiana.  This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare.

Schedule: PRN shifts
Starting Pay :38.00

What You'll Do:
As a Correctional Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of compassionate care in a correctional center. As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a correctional facility you will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency care, while managing chronic conditions and promoting wellness. They ensure compliance with medical and legal standards, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver safe, professional care in a secure environment. 

Requirements:

• LPN license in Louisiana or "Compact" Multi-License 
• 1+ years of recent nursing experience preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.  

• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient responses.  

• Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease prevention.  

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.  

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.  

• Adapt to various healthcare settings and demonstrate flexibility in response to changing assignments.
