Field Service EngineerCustomer Service/Field Service Engineer position available in the Ann Arbor, MI.This is a travel position located at our client location who is leading manufacturer. Direct hire opportunity with a pay rate of $35.00 an hour plus OT. Schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with OT and weekends/holidays during busy times. Must be flexible. Some in office work for training. Will provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, diagnostics, installation, and support for injection mold, aluminum extrusion, and die cast machines. Requires strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, mechanical principles, and precision components.Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service/Field Service Engineer:Install new machines and components; oversee final acceptance testingTrain customers and service technicians on machine operationTroubleshoot and repair equipment issues on-site and by phoneUse and maintain technical and precision measurement equipmentFabricate or modify machine components for customer-specific needsRead and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematicsWork with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systemsPrepare technical reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPointMinimum Qualifications for the Customer Service/Field Service Engineer:Associate's degree or 2–3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination)Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical theoryStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid state-issued driver's licensePreferred Qualifications:PLC experienceMechanical backgroundPrior customer service experienceTravel Requirements:75–90% travel requiredTravel to customer sites for installation, rigging, assembly, and trainingTravel within the U.S.Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
