Position: Direct Support Professional - 3-Day Workweek Location: Overland Park, KS Job Id: 1316 # of Openings: 1 Direct Support Professional - 3-Day Workweek $250 Hiring Bonus! Full-Time, $17.50 - $18.67* GoodLife Innovations is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities! As a Direct Support Professional , you will support positive behaviors, teach communication skills, maintain health and hygiene, and encourage community engagement for the individuals we serve. Your days will be spent in family-style group homes, Day Service centers, and out in the community to assist with client goals and personal care needs. Shifts & Schedules Available: Front-Half (Sun-Wed) Midweek (Wed/Thu/Fri) Back-Half (Wed-Sat) Days: 7am-7pm or 8am-8pm Entry-Level Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Must pass criminal background check Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record (day positions only) Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs Preferred Qualifications: Previous caregiving or direct support experience, ideally in a residential or therapeutic setting Experience working with clients with aggressive or disruptive behaviors Training in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques Some benefits include: 3-day workweeks $250 Hiring Bonus Weekly pay Health insurance reimbursement (ICHRA) Flexible spending account (FSA) Paid time-off Matching 401k Assisting or fully supporting with personal care needs (bathing, toileting, grooming) Teaching and supporting daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry) Transporting clients in company van Administering medications Supporting clients at their Day Service programs and in the community This pay range represents GoodLife's average range for this role at the time of posting.
