Mail Clerk

Mail And Print Services Specialist Provides on-site services including production printing, mail processing, document imaging, copying, finishing, shipping and receiving, filing, and customer service. Supports daily operations using high-volume office and production equipment while maintaining quality, records, supplies, and work areas. Responsibilities Sorts and delivers incoming mail and processes outgoing mail, including applying postage as required. Completes production print requests from TRAC, including copying, binding, coiling, cutting, stapling, hole drilling, taping, stacking, jogging, shrink-wrapping, and other finishing tasks. Operates high-volume duplicating and document imaging equipment and related document image handling software. Uses MS Office, email, calculators, fax machines, postage meters, and document management systems. Opens, saves, transfers, sends, and retrieves PC files according to established protocols. Accesses document management systems using established procedures. Performs daily inspections of convenience copiers, checks print quality, clears paper jams, and reports equipment issues to technicians. Responds to and coordinates customer service calls and answers questions regarding job status and feasibility. Maintains daily meter and service logs, management reports, billing logs, filing systems, and supply inventories. Calculates charges for completed jobs and maintains related records. Distributes office supplies, fax transmissions, mail, and completed jobs to designated locations. Performs shipping and receiving duties for materials and supplies. Delivers completed jobs to designated customer locations within and outside the site. Maintains copier areas and workspaces to ensure they are neat, clean, and well stocked. Performs filing, document purging, and archiving as required. May perform meeting and conference room setup, building occupant moves, light maintenance, re-lamping, and occasional cleaning. May travel between customer buildings as required. Uses equipment including paper cutters, hole drills, bindery equipment, joggers, tape machines, stackers, electric staplers, scales, and shrink-wrap machines. Performs other duties as assigned and may provide off-hour emergency response or periodic overtime on nights and weekends. Requirements High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience or equivalent related experience. Related copy/print production experience preferred. Face-to-face customer service experience in a store, print production environment, or delivery service such as Amazon, FedEx, or similar. Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Mathematical and filing skills. Ability to use office machines, production equipment, and technical equipment. Ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply work instructions and prepare and convey information. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, stretching, and similar activities. Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 5055 lbs. and push or pull wheeled equipment as needed. Moderate dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating calculators, keyboards, hand tools, and production equipment.
