About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic and daily financial leadership. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, ensuring the organization's financial integrity and program quality. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in finance, accounting, and compliance, particularly in a highly regulated environment. The CFO will be responsible for all financial aspects, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as overseeing a team of finance professionals. They will also be involved in budget planning, cost management, and will play a critical role in the future growth and development of the organization. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have at least 8 years of collaborative leadership experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field or significant comparable experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of not-for-profit finance, be adept at problem-solving, and have excellent interpersonal and team skills. Responsibilities include working with executive leaders to achieve budgetary goals, managing restricted funds, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements. The CFO will also be involved in risk management, investment monitoring, and will lead the organization's fraud risk assessment. The role demands a high level of accountability, the ability to make executive-level decisions, and a commitment to the ethical financial practices of the organization.
