Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with attention to clinical indicators and documentation
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels on the unit; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in clinical situations
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with infection control and safety policies

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ER setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
