Department Manager – McDonald’s® The position is located at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Department Manager: Ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions properly, train all service staff in procedures, and keep the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized for optimal service. Kitchen Department Manager: Ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintain food safety, control food cost, and train kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items. People Department Manager: Hire qualified crew, train them well, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, help crew start off effectively, and motivate and recognize them throughout their tenure. Managers also lead shifts each week, set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to their teams and other managers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
