TITLE: Cart Delivery Driver

DEPARTMENT: Operations


REPORTS TO: Residential Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Cart Delivery Driver, under direction of the Lead Dispatcher, distributes, collects, and repairs company issued residential waste receptacles for new, current, and former Tiger Sanitation customers.

Essential Functions:

• Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehicles
• Collects and distributes residential waste receptacles as indicated on daily route sheet
• Actively communicates any and all changes to daily route sheet to the dispatch team
• Notifies supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on route
• Reviews and completes daily work orders
• Ability to navigate a route efficiently
• Ensures accurate completion of route sheet and VCR by the end of each day
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a non-DOT vehicle
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance
• Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community

Education and Experience

• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License

Working Conditions

This position will be based in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements, with extended periods of standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
