Why Work Here?
Employees benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package that supports health, financial security, and time away from work. Full-time team members enjoy competitive pay, medical insurance with a substantial employer contribution toward premiums, plus dental and vision coverage. Basic life insurance is provided, and a Health Savings Account includes a company match up to $1,500 per year. A 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% helps build long-term financial stability, and AFLAC supplemental insurance offers additional protection. Paid Time Off (PTO) supports rest and work-life balance. For overnight travel, lodging is paid and a daily per diem is provided, reflecting a culture that values employees’ well-being and recognizes the demands of field-based work.
Work Environment
This role operates primarily on job sites in commercial and retail facilities, working Monday through Friday on a 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shift, with occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed. The position involves approximately 50% overnight travel and 50% local work, typically structured in cycles of 3–4 weeks traveling followed by 3–4 weeks working locally. When traveling, technicians generally work 10–12 hour days, with paid lodging and a $30 per diem provided for overnight stays. The work is physically demanding and takes place in environments where grinding concrete generates significant dust, and exposure to fumes and noise is possible. Strict safety guidelines are in place, and PPE is required, including steel-toed boots, a hard hat, and potentially a respirator, which is provided by the company. Employees work in close proximity to coworkers and equipment on active construction sites.
