Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and processing/packaging equipment
Prepare equipment for seasonal startup and shutdown
Read manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
Follow plant safety and food safety requirements Requirements:
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
Experience in mechanical repair; manufacturing experience is not required
Automotive, agricultural, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar backgrounds welcome
Reliable attendance and good communication skills
Willingness to work extended hours during peak season Schedule:

Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Plant Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and processing equipment in a seasonal vegetable manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and processing/packaging equipment
Prepare equipment for seasonal startup and shutdown
Read manuals, schematics, and technical documentation

Off-season: Mon Thu, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pack season: 6 12-hour shifts, day or night shift, with overtime
