Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing to step in as a player-coach and provide immediate strategic direction, campaign assessment, and team leadership for a global team of five marketing specialists during a transitional period.

Job Summary

• Audit and assess the current state of active campaigns by region, audience, channel, and performance to identify where time and budget are being allocated appropriately.
• Lead and coach a team of five global marketing specialists, providing day-to-day direction on copy, creative, channel strategy, and campaign priorities.
• Build and maintain a centralized project and campaign tracker to establish visibility into team workload, priorities, and deliverables.
• Develop and present executive-facing recommendations for deploying the remaining annual budget, with a focus on a backend paid advertising push.
• Partner with the central marketing operations team to move campaigns into execution and ensure accountability for follow-through.
• Monitor pipeline metrics, product adoption, launch performance, and sales-enablement results to inform ongoing recommendations.
• Support year-end campaign execution and contribute to early planning for the upcoming sales kickoff cycle.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8-10 years of B2B marketing experience at a management level, with a strong foundation in campaign management and pipeline generation.
• At least 1-2 years of direct people-management experience, including the ability to delegate, coach, and hold team members accountable.
• Demonstrated transformational experience, having assessed and refocused a team or body of work with measurable, articulable impact.
• Deep B2B campaign expertise, including ABM strategy, funnel mechanics, and sales enablement, with the ability to speak core B2B terminology fluently.
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Global or regional campaign management experience.
• Comfort operating within large and highly matrixed organizations.
• Proven ability to build structure, establish tracking processes, and drive accountability across a distributed team.
• Experience commissioning or overseeing paid media campaigns and strategically deploying large marketing budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare, health tech, SaaS, life sciences, pharma, med device, or publishing industries.
• Familiarity with competitor organizations such as Elsevier, Wiley, EBSCO, or Sage.
• Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Marketo, Demandbase, Salesforce, or Seismic.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Domo, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Familiarity with AI marketing tools such as Gemini or Copilot.
