About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 4:1, with occasional 5:1 assignments
• Interpret and document cardiac rhythm strips accurately in a non-multiple-choice, proctored rhythm identification assessment upon start
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to unit dress code and all facility policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience within the past 3 years
• Strong cardiac assessment and monitoring skills
• Ability to pass a proctored rhythm identification test (two attempts allowed; not multiple choice)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care hospital telemetry setting with high patient acuity
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac monitoring systems and telemetry equipment
