Materials Management Planner - Package

: Responsibilities Oversee product requisitions that are entered from all Brenntag Mid-South Branches. Placing Purchase Orders with Suppliers include:

• Converting product requisitions into purchase orders
• Confirming purchase orders with suppliers
• Maintain purchase order statuses in the BUS system
• Following up on all inquiries regarding the purchase orders
• Communicating all changes to the purchase orders with the CSR's
• Build mixed and split truck loads with our suppliers and determine logistically the best distribution branch
• Efficiently move materials logistically between suppliers and internal branches
• Analyze requisitioned material with current inventory levels
• Manage product allocations and communicate it with the internal branches
• Review 3rd party requisition details before they are placed by the 3rd party group
• Coach expeditors to better understand their product lines and make sound decisions.

Your Profile Education Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
