Pocono Valley Resort is a private, group rental resort located in the beautiful Pocono Mountain of Pennsylvania. We specialize in hosting large group events including school field trips, company picnics, family reunions, and retreats. The Kitchen Staff at Pocono Valley Resort play a key role in providing a welcoming dining experience for campers and staff by assisting with meal service and maintaining a clean dining environment. This is a seasonal summer position.

Job Functions:

• Set up and prepare the dining area for meal service.
• Serve food and assist campers and staff as needed.
• Clear tables and maintain the cleanliness of the dining hall after meals.
• Assist cooks and sous chefs with daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• A friendly, positive attitude and strong team spirit.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy mealtimes.
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Workdays may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on camp needs.
• Primarily outdoor and indoor work in a camp setting, with exposure to changing weather conditions.
• Role may require flexibility based on camper turnover and special events.
