Merchandiser / Stocking Associate

About the roleAll Store Team Members play an essential role in building our company brand by delivering excellent customer service. You will maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on merchandising responsibilities, you may also be assigned sales, front end or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, you will be referred to as Merchandiser and report to the store management team.You will* Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned* Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services* Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge* Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs* Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store* Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment* Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned* Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws - if delivery is added as an essential job function* If this job posting is coded as a seasonal role above, you can expect this position to be short term, no longer than six months, and you will have the option to apply for a non-seasonal roleYou will come with* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred* Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software* Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekendsPhysical requirements (with or without accomodations)* Must be 21 years of age or older* Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day* Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets* Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly* May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workdayWe offer* Paid Time Off (PTO)* Generous store discounts* Health care plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision)* 401(k), HSA, FSA, Pre-tax commuter benefits* Disability & life insurance coverage* Paid parental leave* Pet insurance* Critical illness and accident insurance* Discounted home and auto insurance* College tuition assistance* Career development & product training* Consumer classes* & More!Crafted for youWe recognize our team members are our biggest asset, and we value the critical role each play in contributing to the company's success.
