HACCP/Food Safety Coordinator

Job Description

Job Description

Join Ukrop's Homestyle Foods as the HACCP/Food Safety Coordinator and help strengthen a disciplined, compliant food safety culture on-site in Richmond. Start the morning by checking in with the Food Safety Manager to confirm priorities for the day-documentation needing review, upcoming audit-readiness items, and any overnight production notes. On the plant floor, you touch base with HACCP Facilitators, answer questions in real time, and help remove roadblocks so monitoring and record completion stays consistent across lines. As production moves, you spend focused time verifying records for completeness, organizing controlled files, and flagging gaps or repeat trends for follow-up. When deviations or foreign material concerns surface, you help coordinate next step and ensure the documentation trail is clear. Throughout the day, you connect with Quality, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Production to keep information moving, then wrap up by aligning on open items, training documentation, and what needs attention tomorrow.
