Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Float Pool | 12-hour rotating days/nights | One week per four-week period includes three 8-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift | Weekends and holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across medical-surgical telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using an electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Adhere to all facility infection control, safety, and compliance protocols, including required vaccination policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• 1–3 years of related nursing experience required
• CPR certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification required
• EMR experience required
• Basic computer proficiency; ability to navigate web-based applications
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted); Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a teaching hospital setting preferred
• Specialty area clinical expertise preferred
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred
