Software EngineerThe Software Engineer reviews the technical designs, security configurations, and implements software programming applications, including software infrastructure and development tools.The candidate will be responsible for the management of DevOps and Microsoft code management tools for the application development teams.They will provide consulting and the implementation for applications authorization and authentication for the Agency.Net application using a variety of domains and processes.This position requires collaboration with 3rd party vendors and a diverse group of application development teams across DCF.The candidate should have a core knowledge of F5 configuration and load balancing with the ability of making recommendations and validating that configurations have been built according to the requirements or needs of the application.The candidate will need to have additional experience with Control-M integration, ODBC, and DB2 driver configuration or installation on Microsoft servers.Supports and/or installs software applications, infrastructure, and development tools.Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.The candidate will have 10 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan, and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Good technical oral and written communications are required to work with a variety of stakeholders and developersSkills required for the position:15 years of experience working with.Net applicationsAdvanced level knowledge of TFS, Azure DevOps, GIT.Expert level experience with multiple versions of Visual Studio.Expert level of experience and knowledge of building applications in IIS with load balancing and diverse security.
