Position: Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing First Piece , In‐Process , and Final Inspection of precision‐machined components, while accurately completing all required quality documentation in a ISO9001/AS9100 certified environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections according to documented procedures and inspection plans
• Record inspection results clearly, accurately, and legibly
• Conduct mechanical measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, and CMM equipment
• Verify that inspection equipment, tools, and machinery are properly calibrated per company policy
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and inspection criteria
• Prepare and complete all inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
• Collaborate with Production and Management teams to ensure timely communication of quality issues, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement
• Identify, segregate, report and communicate non‐conforming product
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area

Required Qualifications

• Experience inspecting machined parts using standard precision measuring tools, 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gages, optical comparators, and CMMs.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards; familiarity with AS9102 requirements preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented environment
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for several hours per day
• PC‐DMIS experience is a plus
