Responsibilities Prepares, maintains and stores anesthesia machines and equipment in the areas where anesthesia is delivered; transports machines as needed Stocks the anesthesia machines with drugs/drug trays that are supplied by pharmacy, materials, and supplies; stocks anesthesia carts Provides for the cleaning and/or decontamination of the anesthesia machine, equipment, and supplies Ensures appropriate processing of reusable items Makes continuous rounds during assigned shift to provide assistance to the anesthesiologists and to the nursing staff in the management of patient care Prepares invasive lines used by anesthesiologist Performs Point of Care testing Rotates Organ Transplant call May retrieve and transport medications Qualifications Must be able to communicate effectively in English Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program Cer. A.T.T. 6 months experience in the surgery department preferred 6 months of organ transplant experience preferred INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
