Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a cardiothoracic intensive care setting located in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves managing post-cardiac surgery patients immediately following operations and providing specialized care for patients with complex cardiac conditions. This critical care role demands high-acuity patient management, including titration of sedation and vasoactive medications, device management, and patient mobilization. Job Details Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Current RN license, completion of a recognized nursing program, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, Ohio state licensure, and at least 0 years of ICU experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiothoracic or ICU settings is advantageous. Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care for post-operative cardiac patients, including managing devices from CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, IABP, Heart Mate III, external VAD, and ECMO. Responsibilities include chest tube and line removal, patient mobilization, weight monitoring, and medication titration.
