GENERAL PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to provide engineering support for Operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Works with Engineering and Operations to resolve Safety Issues. Works with Maintenance to resolve Machine downtime issues. Works with Engineering and Operations to resolve Quality issues. Works with Engineering and Operations to develop process documentation. Able to understand complex machines to help diagnose issues and recommend improvements. Be able to function in PC based computer systems. Be able to read and understand routings. Be able to read and understand part drawings. Be able to make decisions based on sound engineering principles. Be able to work cross functionally with people from Operations, Engineering and Maintenance. Be detail orientated to ensure accuracy of information delivered. Perform in a team environment to ensure all work is completed 100% on time. Performs additional responsibilities as requested. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 2-4 years of experience as a TMO or as Engineering Tech 1 Experience with standard programs such as EXCEL and WORD. Able to apply basic engineering procedures and practices. Able to work to deadlines and completions. Able to manage own workload and be self-motivated. Team player skills Mechanical aptitude to understand Manufacturing equipment.
