Case Manager

Advisors Resource Company (ARC) is a boutique life insurance and annuity Brokerage General Agency that supports financial advisors, CPAs, and planning-focused firms nationwide. We help advisors serve business owners, retirees, and high-net-worth clients with smart underwriting strategy, strong carrier relationships, and clean execution. We're hiring a Case Manager to run a high-value case pipeline and act as the primary service partner for assigned advisors. This role is for someone who likes ownership, follows through without reminders, and takes pride in keeping complex work moving forward, cleanly and on time. If you're the person clients never have to chase, you'll do well here. What You'll Own Serve as the primary service contact for assigned financial advisors and their teams Manage life insurance and annuity cases from application through underwriting, approval, delivery, and funding Review applications and paperwork for accuracy and completeness before submission Track all case activity in Smart Office (no case status living only in email) Proactively follow up weekly on outstanding underwriting and service requirements Communicate clearly with carriers, advisors, and internal team members on case status, requirements, and next steps Identify stalled or delayed cases early (including underwriting pending 10+ days) and escalated appropriately Coordinate advisor contracting, licensing, appointments, and carrier onboarding Support in-force policy service requests (beneficiary changes, ownership changes, 1035 exchanges, withdrawals, updates, etc.) Maintain accurate documentation and notes on all advisor, carrier, and case activity Collaborate with underwriting, case design, and leadership when strategy or alternatives are needed Help improve internal processes, templates, and workflows as the firm grows This Role Is a Good Fit If You… Are highly organized and follow through without being asked Can comfortably manage 60+ active cases across multiple carriers Communicate professionally and clearly by phone and email Catch small issues before they become big problems Like building relationships but don't lose track of details Work well independently and know how to prioritize a full day Take confidentiality, accuracy, and documentation seriously Prefer being proactive instead of reactive Preferred Experience (Not Required, But Helpful) Experience in life insurance, annuities, BGA, IMO, carrier, or financial services Familiarity with Smart Office, SureLC, iPipeline, DocuSign, or carrier portals Experience supporting financial advisors, insurance agents, or client-facing service teams Understanding of underwriting requirements, policy delivery, licensing, contracting, or annuity paperwork What Success Looks Like Advisors feel informed, supported, and confident Cases move steadily and don't stall unnoticed Service requests are handled promptly and accurately Licensing and contracting items get followed through to completion You are known internally and externally as reliable, responsive, and easy to work with Why Advisors Resource Company ARC works with serious advisors doing real planning work.
