Every day, thousands of critical products and services move through New York’s government agencies, and as the new Order Processing & Customer Support Specialist, you will be the logistics engine making it happen.

Working on-site in Albany for a major mission-driven nonprofit, you will bridge the gap between order entry accuracy and top-tier client relationship management, ensuring seamless fulfillment that ultimately supports employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Who You Will Be Working With
Our client is a nonprofit organization that supports employment and economic opportunities for individuals with disabilities by connecting government agencies and other organizations with high-quality products and services.

Major Duties

• Accurately enter and process customer purchase orders received through phone, email, web, and other communication channels.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery issues, returns, and product information in a professional and timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns while maintaining positive client relationships.
• Coordinate with vendors, warehouse teams, and partner agencies to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation related to customer transactions and open orders.
• Support inside sales efforts by communicating product information and assisting with customer follow-up activities.
• Assist with special projects, trade show support, and other operational duties as assigned.

What We ’r e Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service, order entry, inside sales, or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone presence.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus.
