Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement - Long Island, NY

Clinical Specialist role supporting orthopedic joint replacement surgeries at a Long Island facility. Provides intraoperative assistance with robotic and manual procedures, including pre-operative planning, equipment setup, and technical troubleshooting while building clinical expertise in a field-based position.

Responsibilities

• Develop competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic joint replacement procedures
• Assist with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, positioning, and full case preparation
• Troubleshoot technical issues in operating room and manage equipment setup and readiness
• Support account coordination including inventory management, logistics, and case documentation
• Participate in on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays for urgent cases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Associate with 4 years, or high school diploma with 6 years)
• Valid driver's license and fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; stand for extended periods
• Preferred: one year relevant clinical work experience in healthcare or surgical settings
• Ability to handle biohazardous materials per OSHA regulations
• Capacity to manage stressful operating room situations professionally

Compensation: $71,900 - $100,000 USD Annual
