Hourly: $29-$38.57 $10 extra picking up shift Weekend Premium- Time and half Locations: Syracuse, NY POSITION SUMMARY: A Medical Technologis t is a clinical laboratory scientist who performs clinical laboratory procedures and examinations pursuant to established and approved protocols of the Department of Health. May have contact with: Laboratory personnel, supervisors, managers Vendors and regulatory or accrediting agencies PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Regularly both stationary and required to move about from work station to station Frequently required to perform duties associated with the use of a computer and laboratory instruments Ability to grasp small objects and perform tasks associated with eye-hand coordination Ability to distinguish details of objects less than a few feet away and determine and detect difference between size, color, numbers, shades, and brightness, as well as differentiate sounds.
