Using advanced metals chemistry, you'll help tackle the world's biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.The role:* Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical production equipment to support safe and reliable operations.* Plan and complete maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to production.* Install, assemble, lubricate and adjust equipment to maintain efficient performance.* Interpret drawings and technical sketches to determine materials, tools and repair methods.* Carry out minor fabrication, welding, pipework and equipment modification activities as required.* Maintain operating records and support the upkeep of plant utilities and facility equipment.Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:* High school diploma; mechanical trade school certification is desirable.* Experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing industrial mechanical equipment.* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and maintenance documentation.* Working knowledge of welding, fabrication, piping and general maintenance practices.* Experience operating machine tools and maintenance-related equipment safely.* Ability to operate forklifts, aerial scissor lifts and boom lifts.Even if you only match some of the skills, we'd love to hear from you to discuss further!What we offer:We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
