Multi Brand Advisor I

Overview Ulta Beauty seeks a Multi-Brand Advisor (MBA) who is passionate about the beauty industry and committed to delivering exceptional guest service. The MBA will maximize sales of selected Estee Lauder Companies brands—including MAC, Clinique, and Estee Lauder—by engaging guests, providing product knowledge, and supporting in‑store events. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Meet or exceed sales and clientele goals for MAC, Clinique, and Estee Lauder brands, while contributing to overall store performance metrics. Use all sales levers—including product services and data capture—to build guest loyalty, recruit new guests, and increase guest return rate. Educate guests about the loyalty program, Ulta Beauty app, and current promotions. Provide exceptional service: greet guests, offer samples, recommend products, and inform of events. Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously. Maintain deep knowledge of MAC, Clinique, and Estee Lauder heritage and product benefits. Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales. Book appointments for services and in‑store events that enhance guest experience and meet sales goals. Participate in brand and store promotions, marketing initiatives, and training. Use clientele systems to collect and follow up on guest information, building loyalty. Stay informed on industry trends and new products during work time. Maintain prompt, regular attendance. People Support an inclusive environment with teammates, peers, and guests. Maintain relationships with brand partners through training and events. Resolve guest concerns in line with Ulta Beauty standards. Collaborate with managers and associates to grow business. Attend seasonal seminars and ongoing training. Process Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards. Adhere to brand opportunities and dress code. Keep assigned work area replenished and compliant with hygiene standards. Maintain store operational standards, including cleanliness of brand areas. Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, inventory procedures, and shipment processing. Follow loss prevention best practices to protect company assets. Execute other operational tasks as directed. Job Qualifications Education High school diploma preferred. Cosmetology or demonstrator license if required by state law. Experience Cosmetics artistry experience preferred. Skills Passion for sales, products, and service. Strong customer relationship building. Ability to work independently and as a team. Effective handling of guest concerns in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Special Position Requirements Work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Attend brand‑sponsored trainings. Working Conditions Frequent mobility, standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting. Continuous lifting up to 10 lbs. Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
