Sanitation Worker - 3rd Shift

We create quality products in a safe environment for our team members.Benefits Effective Day 1!Position SummaryThis position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning, and preparing equipment for use in various departments.ResponsibilitiesCover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.Clean up excess waste on the floors.Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals.Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant and oil when finished.Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, and any other items.Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.Perform any other work as assigned by management.RequirementsAbility and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.Physical RequirementsAbility and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend up to 10 hours.Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.Preferred SkillsMachine Operator experience preferredExperience in a manufacturing setting preferredRF Scanner experience preferredQualifications3 months of work history with the same employerLOCATION IS NOT ACCEPTING REHIRESRelocation Assistance Eligible: NoWork Shift: 3RD SHIFT (United States of America)Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
