Lead the Shift
- Champion our mission and values in every interaction
- Lead the team during your shift, delegating tasks so everything gets done efficiently, correctly, and on time
- Keep the team encouraged, motivated, and focused on great service and sales
- Resolve conflicts and make quick, sound decisions
- Communicate clear direction and stay proactive on daily work and special projects
- Help drive sales growth and deliver a consistent, premium guest experience
Assist in Daily Operations
- Assist in completing opening and closing duties, making sure the store is set up for success and closed down to standard
- Assist in managing the team's Asana tasks each day by confirming completion before the end of shift
- Uphold product quality, consistency, and company standards
- Support receiving and putting away inventory and going to storage to get additional supplies
Keep Inventory Stocked
- Monitor and refill product inventory throughout the day so cases stay full
- Monitor and refill box and packaging inventory (including back stock)
- Flag low stock and let manager know if reorder is needed
Train and Support the Team
- Help train new team members and make sure they are meeting Sugar Bliss standards
- Support positive employee relations and a welcoming, inclusive workplace
Communicate with Care
- Ensure high guest and client satisfaction
- Write clear, friendly customer emails that represent the Sugar Bliss brand
What You Bring
- 1+ year of retail leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, plus solid math skills
- A people-first attitude: you love working with guests and teammates
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to step into any role in the store
- Comfort with Asana or similar task management tools (a plus)
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- ServSafe certification required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This role requires standing and moving throughout the shift, along with bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, and repetitive motions.
