Construction Project Manager – Multifamily Residential

Location: Morristown, NJ

Employment Type: Full-Time

An established Construction Management and Design-Build firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multifamily residential construction projects. This position is based out of Morristown, NJ.

\n

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up multifamily construction, mixed-use developments, or large-scale residential projects, with experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
\n
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project performance.
\n
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and field teams throughout the design and construction process.
\n
• Manage subcontractor buyout, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement.
\n
• Monitor project costs, forecasting, billing, and financial performance.
\n
• Coordinate design development, value engineering, permitting, and construction activities.
\n
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5+ years of construction project management experience with a Construction Management, Design-Build, or General Contracting firm.
\n
• Experience managing ground-up multifamily residential or mixed-use construction projects.
\n
• Strong understanding of preconstruction, design coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
\n
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
\n
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
\n
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
\n
