If you're PTCB-certified, registered in Texas, and enjoy helping patients, this opportunity offers $19–$22 per hour, full-time hours, and the potential for a contract extension.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN I – RETAIL PHARMACY

Location : Fort Worth, TX 76104 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• Pay: $19–$22 per hour
• Full-time: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• 13-week contract with potential extension
• Evening shifts and rotating weekends required
• Pharmacy operating hours: 8:00 AM–12:00 Midnight, 7 days a week

ROLE IMPACT

Support pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and timely prescription services to children and families. In this fast-paced retail pharmacy, you'll help patients with prescriptions, maintain medication inventory, and ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will directly contribute to a positive patient experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, count, package, reconstitute, and label prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacis
• Assist patients with prescription drop-offs, pickups, refill requests, and medication availability question
• Process controlled substance prescriptions, maintain perpetual inventory, and complete required medication counts and documentatio
• Restock counting cells, monitor medication expiration dates, and maintain clean, organized pharmacy work areas
• Support medication audits, quality assurance, pharmacy documentation, and regulatory compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification AND active Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) Pharmacy Technician Registration; OR current Texas Pharmacy Intern License/Registration
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience, including prescription processing, medication calculations, and pharmacy operations.
