Job Summary

A growing manufacturer in the Westminster area is seeking a CNC Setup Machinist to join its production team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, performing quality inspections, and supporting production goals in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have CNC setup experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
Pay

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling equipment for production runs.
• Select and install tooling and fixturing based on setup documentation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Complete deburring, rework, and secondary operations as required.
• Identify and report quality concerns or non-conforming materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support multiple manufacturing processes as needed.
• Communicate equipment, tooling, or production issues to supervisors and team members.

Qualifications
Required

• Minimum 2 years of CNC setup experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience performing first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Preferred

• Experience with HAAS CNC equipment.
• CNC lathe setup experience.
• CMM experience.
• Knowledge of Mastercam and/or SolidWorks.
• Experience working in a precision manufacturing environment.

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
