250+ local authorities rely on Vizzia to keep their streets clean and safe, with the ambition to reach 500+ by the end of 2026. AI products power that promise, and they only work as well as the data feeding them.

The data squad sits inside the AI team and owns the stack that turns raw signals into the datasets, models, and dashboards the company runs on. As the AI roadmap accelerates, so do the demands on the data layer: more pipelines, more datasets for R&D, more cloud services to run reliably.

We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer reporting to our Head of AI to ship reliable pipelines, build the data platform R&D needs to move on its own, and become the technical reference on data inside the AI team and across the company.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines that feed Vizzia's AI models and internal tools.
• Ensure data quality, security, and reliability across the full data lifecycle.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance using Datadog and Grafana.
• Build the data platform that lets R&D and data scientists create and enrich datasets autonomously, without going through tickets.
• Prepare and ship the datasets R&D needs for new model iterations.
• Contribute to the infrastructure as code stack dedicated to data services.
• Run data pipelines in the cloud reliably and keep operating cost in check.
• Build and maintain dashboards and internal reports that turn data into actionable insights for the team.
• Work day-to-day with Data Science, DevOps, and Product to keep data consistent and valuable across the company.
• Be the data reference inside the AI team and on harder data questions across Vizzia.

Who You Are

• Around 5 years of experience as a data engineer, with strong Python and cloud foundations (AWS is a plus).
• You've worked with significant data volumes and can talk through the hard ones, what broke, what you fixed, what you'd do differently.
• You write clean software. A solid CS or engineering background is what we're looking for.
• Computer vision data experience is a nice plus, not a must.
• You're hands-on, autonomous, and own things end to end. Project management is not what you're after, building reliable systems is.

We care about precision, ownership, and shipping. We're looking for someone who wants to make AI products work in the real world, not just in notebooks.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: €70K–€90K+ annually

Hybrid work

Contrat cadre and RTT (between 8 and 12 days per year depending on public holidays)
