In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy. You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards. Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
