Pulmonology Physician

We re actively seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonologist for locum tenens coverage in Lima, Ohio . This position offers a blend of adult inpatient (non-ICU) and outpatient clinic work, with weekend rounding and 24-hour call. Ideal candidates will be procedure-capable and comfortable managing both sleep and pulmonary cases .

Location: Lima, OH
Estimated Credentialing: 30 days (with active OH license and clean background)

Practice Details:

• Setting: Inpatient (non-ICU) and outpatient clinic

• Must be willing to see new patients in clinic

• Supervision of 5 APCs in the practice

• EMR: Epic

• Call : Inpatient rounds on weekends + 24-hour call with callback compensation

• Board Certified Sleep Medicine preferred but not required

Required Evaluations & Conditions:

• COPD, Asthma, Pneumonia

• Pulmonary Nodules, Lung Masses

• Pulmonary Fibrosis, ILD, Sarcoidosis

• Bronchiolitis, Pulmonary Hypertension, Vascular Disease

Required Testing/Procedures:

• Pulmonary Function Testing

• Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing

• Pulmonary Rehab

• Bronchoscopy (incl. Bronchoscopic Intubations)

• Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)

• Super D (preferred)

• Interstitial & Granulomatous Lung Disease

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in Pulmonology REQUIRED

• Pulmonary Fellowship REQUIRED

• Board Certification in Sleep Medicine PREFERRED

• ACLS & BLS REQUIRED

• Active OH License PREFERRED (will review those needing to obtain)
